Asteroids crash onto XBLA

XBox Live Arcade sees Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe land on the marketplace today as a 400 point bundle. Not bad, but Missile Command on the XBLA was questionable, the bug games (Centipede and Millipede) were ok.. but Asteroids was always fun, even on the Atari 2600. I just wonder what Asteroids has done to it to XBLA it to the point I want to buy it? I'll find out later today when I dload the demo, and probably buy the thing!

Damned arcades have poisoned my gaming sense!

Our first consistant project online with video will be Pencil Shavings Visits the Arcade. This will be Pencil playing XBLA games, some MAME stuff, and also some PinMAME stuff.. he loves those old games!

Halo 3 Zombification October 31st

Well, Max dove into Halo 3's "zombiefication days".. you wouldn't believe the number of team-killing pubtards are online in those types of games. Revenge is sweet, though, walking behind your teammates and leveling a shotgun to their heads, while they stand on their perch looking for zombies. Smells like... victory.. or vengeance.

Knarf is over in the Fortress re-working the Godfather, pencil-shavings.net, so I'm anxious to see what he's got up his sleeve, cooking and such.



Maxwell Einstein has a bout of laryngitis, so he's taking a breather, we'll be throwing him up sometime on You Tube (don't forget to check for some silly nonsense!)
